SAINt JHN's Remixed 'Roses' Blooms on Hot 100 & Dance/Electronic Charts - Billboard

Plus, moves for The Black Eyed Peas, J Balvin, Dua Lipa & more.

SAINt JHN rolls to his first solo No. 1 on Billboard's charts with his international smash "Roses (Imanbek Remix)."

The tune tops the April 4-dated Dance/Electronic Streaming Songs survey, rising 3-1 with 10.6 million U.S. streams, up 117%, and Dance/Electronic Digital Song Sales (also 3-1; 5,000 downloads sold, up 222%), according to Nielsen Music/MRC Data.

"Roses" also additionally enters the all-genre, multi-metric Billboard Hot 100, at No. 55. It's SAINt JHN's second appearance on the chart, after "Brown Skin Girl," by Beyoncé, SAINt JHN and WIZKID featuring Blue Ivy Carter (No. 76, last August). The latter track, from The Lion King: The Gift, became SAINt JHN's first leader on any Billboard chart, topping Kid Digital Song Sales and World Digital Song Sales.

SAINt JHN, the Brooklyn rapper-singer born Carlos St. John, first released "Roses" in July 2016. Kazakh producer Imanbek's remix arrived last September, sparking the song's global chart action. It rules the Official UK Singles chart for a second week and has hit the top 10 of multiple international surveys.

Further, the remixed "Roses" rises 4-2 on Dance/Mix Show Airplay and 4-3 on the multi-metric Hot Dance/Electronic Songs chart. In November, it reached No. 16 on Dance Club Songs.

'RITMO' RETURNS TO No. 1: Atop Hot Dance/Electronic Songs, The Black Eyed Peas and J Balvin revisit the top spot with "RITMO (Bad Boys for Life)" (2-1). The collab collects an eighth total week on top, and its first following a three-week rule for Lady Gaga's "Stupid Love."

'START' NOT STOPPING: Looking at Dance/Mix Show Airplay, Dua Lipa leads for a 15th week with "Don't Start Now." That's long enough to tie Lady Gaga's "Poker Face" (2009) for the fourth-most weeks at No. 1 since the chart's August 2003 inauguration, following The Chainsmokers' "Closer" (featuring Halsey; 20 weeks, 2016-17); Marshmello and Bastille's "Happier" (16 weeks, 2018-19); and Swedish House Mafia's "Don't You Worry Child" (featuring John Martin; also 16 weeks, 2012-13).

Additionally on Dance/Mix Show Airplay, Tritonal earns its sixth top 10, SCHALA and Jorza score top 10 firsts and featured singer HALIENE hails her second top 10 with "Long Way Home" (18-9).
