Wonderwall.com is taking a look back at the stars who found love, suffered heartbreak or experienced some other major event in their love lives in March 2021, starting with this new pairing… Does Sofia Richie have a new boyfriend? On March 26, the model took to Instagram to share this mirror selfie with a mystery man. (Fans have speculated he's Elliot Grainge — the son of Universal Music Group CEO Sir Lucian Grainge, a longtime friend and colleague of her father, Lionel Richie.) The pair have been seen together several times in recent months: On March 25, for example, they were snapped briefly holding hands on their way to their car outside a restaurant in West Hollywood, though it's unclear if they're friends or something more. Earlier this month, Sofia — who was last linked to shipping heir Gil Ofer in late January — made headlines when her ex-boyfriend, Scott Disick, claimed on an episode of "Keeping Up With the Kardashians" that their off-and-on relationship finally came to an end after she gave him "an ultimatum" — to choose between her and his former longterm partner, Kourtney Kardashian, with whom he shares three children. "I feel like she just started wanting to, like, push Kourtney out," he said.

In late March, multiple anonymous sources told Deux Moi — an Instagram account dedicated to celebrity gossip — that Pete Davidson and Phoebe Dynevor are an item. Among the evidence they're a couple? A British teenager told a local newspaper that she spied the pair "holding hands and hugging each other" near her home in Caverswall, Staffordshire, England. "It looked like they were in a relationship and they seemed happy together," she told StokeonTrentLive.

On March 12, multiple media outlets reported that Jennifer Lopez and Alex Rodriguez called it quits in the wake of a cheating scandal involving "Southern Charm" star Madison LeCroy. The following day, however, the power couple released a joint statement insisting they're still together — though they admitted they're "working through some things." According to a People magazine source, they'd "talked about" throwing in the towel after "they hit a rough patch" but "never officially broke up." (There were also conflicting reports about what role the Madison scandal actually played in the almost-split.) A few days later — after A-Rod traveled to the Dominican Republic to visit J.Lo on the set of an upcoming movie — People magazine reported that, according to another source, the pair hope "to figure out their life together," and although they "have a lot of issues," they "both seem willing to do whatever it takes to stay together." A third source said that Jennifer had actually "been contemplating breaking up with Alex for six months," while a fourth insider claimed the singer-actress is "struggling with trust issues" and was "very much ready to give up" on her relationship with the former professional athlete. By the end of the month, it seemed the pair were back on track and "heading in the right direction" toward mending the fractures in their relationship.
On March 9, Alessandra Ambrosio was snapped holding hands with model Richard Lee during a dinner date in Santa Monica, California. The PDA confirmed recent speculation that the former Victoria's Secret Angel split from longtime love Nicolo Oddi.
Although he realized he wasn't ready for an engagement, Matt James gave his final rose to Rachael Kirkconnell on the finale of season 25 of "The Bachelor," which aired on March 15. After the cameras stopped rolling, the duo dated for several months until her racism scandal erupted in February as the season was midway through airing. They called it quits after he came to the conclusion that he needed "to take a step back" to let her work on herself amid the scandal, which he described as "heartbreaking."
In other Bachelor Nation love news… On March 9, E! News reported that, according to a source, Clare Crawley and Dale Moss — who split in January and appeared to reconcile in February — wouldn't be "getting back together … at this point in time" because they "don't think they have a long-term future together." On March 16, however, the duo — who got engaged last year just two weeks into shooting season 16 of "The Bachelorette" — were snapped packing on the PDA in New York City. (See photos here.) The following day, Us Weekly reported that, according to a source, they're "dating again" and "working on things in their relationship." They also spent Clare's 40th birthday together at the end of the month.
On March 18, Tinsley Mortimer's fiancé of a little more than a year, Scott Kluth, released a statement to People magazine announcing that they'd quietly called it quits and "have been living independently for the last few months." A source close to the former "The Real Housewives of New York City" star — who walked away from the Bravo show when she moved to Chicago to be with Scott after they got engaged in late 2019 — described her as "blindsided" and "heartbroken" over the breakup, which was "not mutual." A Page Six source, meanwhile, said that the CouponCabin founder "tortured" the reality star "for years" by dumping her and then quickly seeking to reconcile. When asked for a response to that claim, Scott's rep told Page Six that Tinsley "is mischaracterizing the circumstances of their breakup, which happened months ago." Us Weekly's sources also gave conflicting accounts of the breakup. One source said that Tinsley "feels like she wasted four years of her life on Scott," who "made her leave the show, giving her an ultimatum of getting married to him and starting a family or continue to be on 'RHONY.'" Said a second source, "Tinsley shouldn't feel blindsided when she was aware [the relationship] was over months ago. … He's heartbroken. He thought they would get married and raise a family together." Regardless of who's right about the timeline and the circumstances of the split, the first source said that "Tinsley is done this time" and "there's no way she's going back to Scott."
On March 5, People magazine confirmed reports that Nicolas Cage secretly married Riko Shibata — who's three decades his junior — in a "very small and intimate" ceremony at the Wynn Hotel in Las Vegas on Feb. 16. "It's true, and we are very happy," said the actor in a statement. The bride and groom reportedly met in Japan more than a year ago. It's Nic's fifth marriage.
In other secret wedding news… On March 9, Chloe Sevigny announced on Instagram that she quietly married Sinisa Mackovic at City Hall in New York City on March 9, 2020 — less than two months before they welcomed their son, Vanja, in early May.
Jenni "JWoww" Farley took to Instagram on March 9 to announce that she and off-and-on love Zack Clayton Carpinello got engaged "on the top of the Empire State Building" on her 35th birthday: Feb. 27.
On March 3, The Sun confirmed rumors that Mark Ronson and Grace Gummer are an item. The DJ-producer and the "Mr. Robot" actress were first seen together during a group dinner with friends in New York City in September 2020.
During an interview with the Los Angeles Times that debut online on March 11, Selena Gomez shot down rumors she's dating "Only Murders in the Building" co-star Aaron Dominguez — which kicked off when they were photographed smiling and walking arm-in-arm in New York City in late February … while shooting a scene for the upcoming Hulu series.
On March 9, Emile Hirsch sparked rumors that he and Paris Jackson are an item when he took to Instagram to share a sweet shot of himself cuddled up to the 22-year-old singer-songwriter at a party. It was the second time in two weeks that the 35-year-old actor posted a cozy-looking snap with Paris. It's not what it looks like, though: According to a Page Six source, their relationship is "purely platonic."
On March 23, The Sun published photos of Lizzo looking cozy with a mystery man while hanging out on the balcony of a mansion in Malibu. (See photos here.) As buzz around her relationship status started growing online, she took to Instagram to make it clear she's still on the market. "Single," she captioned a video of herself showing off her bod.
In early March, Tyrese Gibson hinted on Instagram that he has a new girlfriend: model Zelie Timothy. She's the first woman to whom he's been linked since his late-2020 split from wife Samantha Lee Gibson.

On March 16, the Bravo & Cocktails Instagram account published a video of Brandi Redmond's husband, Bryan Redmond, kissing another woman in a nightclub. It's unclear when or where the video was taken. The "Real Housewives of Dallas" stars, who were high school sweethearts and have been married for nearly two decades, just welcomed their fourth child earlier this year.
In other "Housewives" news… On March 6, personal trainer Von Rhé indicated on Instagram that he and "The Real Housewives of Atlanta" newbie LaToya Ali — who separated from husband Adam Ali late last year — are dating. The following week, however, she claimed that in spite of their extremely flirtatious and PDA-packed behavior toward one another, they're just super-close platonic BFFs.
TMZ reported on March 17 that Ray J and Princess Love's divorce is officially off … again. In February — the same month he said they "love being together" but need to figure out how to "be good together" — she filed paperwork (which he signed off on) to have their divorce dismissed.
On March 23, multiple media outlets reported that Addison Rae and Bryce Hall recently called it quits. An Us Weekly source said it was Addison who pulled the plug on their off-and-on relationship, but an E! News insider claimed the two Tik Tok stars haven't been together since he was accused of cheating on her in Las Vegas in late February — which he denied at the time. Meanwhile, an anonymous source told Deux Moi — an Instagram account dedicated to celebrity gossip — that Bryce and model Josie Canseco have been "hooking up in front of everyone at parties for the last month."
On March 18 — after images of her boyfriend, Karl-Anthony Towns, allegedly communicating with other women surfaced online — Jordyn Woods took to Twitter to claim the screenshots were doctored and to deny he was unfaithful, writing that their relationship is "solid." The professional basketball player also shot down the allegations on Twitter, writing that he and Jordyn are in it for the long haul. "Same haters we got now are gonna be the same ones we have when I put that ring on her finger," he tweeted.
"Summer House" star Hannah Berner took to Instagram on March 3 to announce that she and Des Bishop are engaged. She later told People magazine that the Irish comedian proposed on Valentine's Day — just seven months after he met the reality star by sliding into her DMs on Instagram.
"Bling Empire" star Kelly Mi Li took to Instagram on March 9 to announce that she and her off-and-on boyfriend of more than five years, "Power Rangers Megaforce" actor Andrew Gray, called it quits again.

Joe Exotic's fourth husband, Dillon Passage, announced on Instagram on March 26 that he and the "Tiger King: Murder, Mayhem and Madness" star, who's currently serving a prison sentence, are ending their marriage of more than three years.
E! News correspondent Erin Lim revealed on Instagram on March 12 that she and fashion designer Joshua Rhodes quietly tied the knot earlier this year. She later told E! they exchanged vows in a ceremony officiated by the groom's father in the backyard of her parents' home in Los Angeles on Jan. 21.
"Big Brother" stars Nicole Franzel and Victor Arroyo, who are currently expecting their first child, tied the knot at the Casa Feliz Historic Home Museum in Winter Park, Florida, on March 16. The duo, who got engaged on "Big Brother" in 2018, pushed their big wedding plans several times amid the coronavirus pandemic.
"Love Island" couple Connor Trott and Mackenzie Dipman took to their Instagram Stories on March 6 to announce that they called it quits. They attributed their breakup to distance: He lives in Pittsburgh, while she calls Tucson, Arizona, home.
"Southern Charm" alum Ashley Jacobs took to Instagram on March 16 to announce that she and her boyfriend of a year and half, Mike Appel, are engaged. He popped the question during a snowmobile ride in Park City, Utah, on Feb. 26, the blonde beauty, who previously dated Thomas Ravenel, told People magazine.
According to TMZ, Gary Owen's wife of nearly two decades, Kenya Duke, filed for divorce in Los Angeles on March 19. She later implied on Instagram that the stand-up comedian and "Think Like a Man" star cheated with a woman from Dallas who's friends with Claudia Jordan — who's been friends with Gary for years. When the former "The Real Housewives of Atlanta" star caught wind of Kenya's allegations, she hopped online to set the record straight, claiming in a video (watch a recording here) that she doesn't have a friend from Dallas and has never been aware of any infidelity on Gary's part.
On March 1, Page Six broke the news that 27-year-old Victoria's Secret and Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue model Daniela Lopez Osorio and 44-year-old billionaire Travis Kalanick — who co-founded Uber but has since left the company — have been quietly dating "since mid-January and meeting in California earlier this year.
