The NC Department of Health and Human Services will require all death certificates to be submitted electronically using the NC Database Application for Vital Events starting May 1.
The NC Department of Health and Human Services (NC DHHS) will require all death certificates to be submitted electronically using NCDAVE (NC Database Application for Vital Events) starting May 1. All UNC Health physicians and APPs should have an account with NCDAVE and are encouraged to review these training materials in advance of the transition.
Note: training materials can also be accessed from the ‘References’ dropdown menu in Epic@UNC.
Clinicians can email one of our NCDAVE local administrators with any other questions and/or concerns.
