Love Island star Kai Fagan has shared an update on his relationship with Sanam Harrinanan after being crowned season 9's winners and arriving home in the UK.
The couple won the hearts of the public and each other in the South African villa on 2023's winter edition of the ITV2 reality series.
During their final interview with host Maya Jama, before being announced as the winners, Sanam accidentally let slip that she "fell in love" with Kai during her time on the show.
Now, in a heartwarming social media post Kai has followed suit and dropped the L-bomb himself.

Taking to Instagram, Kai shared a series of photos and video clips from his time with Sanam in the villa and thanked fans for their support.
"It's still not sunk in and don't think it will for a while," the reality star wrote. "I feel so grateful for the opportunity but most importantly of all I'm walking away with a girl that's a dream and more.
"She's humble, intelligent, caring, loving and so much more, I'm honestly so excited to start this journey on the outside with her. My real-life Disney princess."

Continuing to pay tribute to Sanam in the Instagram post, Kai went on to make a romantic declaration.
"I have honestly fallen head over heels for her (if you can't tell) and wanted to keep certain intimate things between us for the first time before we tell the world, just so we can saviour the moment more," he said. "This one is a big one for me and I mean this with my full heart. I LOVE YOU TOO SANAM."
Quick to respond to Kai's heartfelt post, Sanam commented: "This is actually the cutest thing ever! I'm so happy we met. I love you."

Several of the couple's Love Island co-stars also swiftly took to the comment section to share congratulatory messages.
"My favourite couple!" Ron Hall wrote. "So much love for you both and deserved winners, could not be happier for you both!"
"Congratulations Kai and Sanam," Jessie Wynter commented, alongside a love heart emoji.
"I love you both," Lana Jenkins said, with Will Young adding: "Congratulations both of you dragons."
