St. Lawrence County photographer Beverly Patchin loves exploring nature, geography and history. She’s been documenting her experiences with a camera for several years. It all began during winter trips to Florida and a chance to attend a photographers’ convention. She started her career with portraits, but she also loves photographing landscapes and wildlife.

These days her work is on display at the Gallery at Lake St. Lawrence Arts in Waddington, where she also runs a custom framing business.

“Photo Journey - New England to Alaska” is an exhibit of her favorite photos. It’s on display in Waddington this month. Todd Moe caught up with her at the exhibit to talk about her love for nature, travel and photography.
