Some contestants who didn’t get much screentime in the edit have been coming forward to share stories from the pods, including Love Is Blind season 6 cast member Sunni Haralalka, who spoke about Matthew.
In a recently created TikTok, Sunni shared that she had some issues with Matthew that were different than his problems with A.D. Smith or Amber Grant, who he was two-timing in the pods. Sunni shared “the convo I had with Matthew before he ghosted me in the pods” in her video, using a voiceover for Matthew’s dialogue.
“I don’t think we should be together and I thought about it a lot, and this is what’s going to happen,” the voiceover said. “I’m gonna keep pursuing what I’m pursuing…because I’m doing that, it’s gonna take up more of my [time].” The video clarified that Matthew was talking to Sunni in the pods, but when he ended things, he did so by ghosting her instead of making it mutual.
Sunni Is The “Third Person” Matthew Dated
While Matthew was already dating both A.D. and Amber, Sunni shared that she was the third person he was stringing along. Though his connections with all three women were clearly making it difficult for Matthew to be original or share his true self, Sunni explained that he “he didn’t even stay to say bye to [her]”, instead leaving the pods without any explanation. Sunni’s time on Love Is Blind season 6 wasn’t shown, so there’s not much of a record of her relationship with Matthew in the edited episodes, but judging by his behavior, this isn’t surprising.
Throughout Love Is Blind season 6’s pod phase, the couples have gone through some historic firsts within the series. From love triangles to lies and deception, the Love Is Blind season 6 cast didn’t appear to be ready for just how emotional the pods were going to be.
