Electronic Arts will report its earnings after the close of trading on Thursday.

Since EA last disclosed its results on Oct. 29, the company’s stock (ticker: EA) is up 19%, more than double the S&P 500’s 8% return.

Here is a snapshot of Wall Street’s expectations and some recent history:

• Wall Street analysts are predicting that the company will report fiscal third-quarter adjusted earnings of $2.51 per share and $1.97 billion of revenue.

• On Tuesday, Piper Sandler analyst Michael Olson reaffirmed his Overweight rating for EA shares, citing rising viewership of the company’s videogames on the live-streaming service Twitch. “We anticipate revenue in-line with consensus, with potential upside driven by Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order,” he wrote.

Olson said his analysis of EA titles’ December performance on Twitch showed a 48% quarter-on-quarter increase in viewership of the top 25 games, which likely bodes well for its financial results.

• Other Wall Street analysts are positive on EA. About 67% have ratings of Buy or the equivalent on the stock, while 33% have Hold ratings, according to FactSet. Their average price target for the stock is $115.47, compared with its level of $112.86 on Tuesday afternoon.

• Management has scheduled a conference call for 5 p.m. Eastern time on Thursday to discuss the results with analysts and investors.
