Jane Seymourand John Zambetti have their children to thank for finding new love in their lives.
While attending the Wags and Walks 12th Annual Benefit Gala on Saturday, the new couple opened up and confessed it was their kids who set them up.
'Well, our kids put us together,' Zambetti, 73, told People, which was confirmed by Seymour, herself: 'Yes, our kids put us together.'
'So we certainly don't have to worry about the kids not approving of who we were with,' the musician and composer added. 'I'm very lucky to be with her.'
The British-born actress, 72, went on to disclose how Zambetti 'wrote me some love songs. He's a songwriter. I think that's what really got me in the end.'
Zambetti then jumped back into the conversation and said he wrote the songs 'just to close the deal,' which prompted the former OO7 Bond Girl to joke, 'Yeah. Three so far. I think there's an album on the way.'
The couple think that destiny may have played a role in them getting together, considering their sons both share a musical background, which is what they say led them to each other.
'His son is a very successful rock musician with a group called The Palms. And his name's Johnny Zambetti,' Seymour told the publication. 'And I have a son who's a rock musician too, Johnny Keach, so when we talked about them, we say "My Johnny," [since] they both have the same name.'
Just two days before the event, Seymour posted a photo of the hot new couple posing with Zambetti's musician son Johnny.
'Meet John's remarkable son, @johnnyzambetti! I've known him since he was 13, can you believe it? Johnny just shared with me that his band @thepalmsmusic has over 150 million streams on @Spotify! I've added a link to it in stories and to their video if you want to check them out!,' she wrote. 'Always fun to see how they grow up.'
The Uxbridge, Middlesex, England native, who has been married and divorced four times, has four children: Katherine Flynn, 41, and Sean Flynn, 38, with her third ex-husband David Flynn, and twins John Keach, 27, and Kristopher Keach, 27, with fourth ex-husband James Keach.
Now both in their 70s, Seymour and Zambetti have made music a central part of their social lives together.
'I have a lot of friends that are musicians in town. We like to go see them play,' the Washington, D.C. native revealed, before adding, 'And she never really went to the dives to see, that's where the real music is. That's where the real players are playing. So she loves it. She loves going everywhere and she loves music.'
He admitted he loves to introduce 'her to stuff that, even though she's lived here a long time, she really was unaware of that side of L.A.'
Seymour and Zambetti only just went Instagram official on October 1, when she posted a couple of photos of them snuggled up together poolside.
'I've never been happier,' the Somewhere In Time star gushed in the caption.
For the second picture the musician and songwriter gave his new love a kiss on the side of her head, all while she flashed a big beaming smile on her face.
'I am having the happiest time of my life. In many ways,' Seymour shared during the interview with People.
The Wedding Crashers actress went on to reveal how she and Zambetti like to celebrate their anniversary every month since becoming an item.
'This time in life, you're not going to wait 50 years, are you?' Seymour said of their romance.
