Love Is Blind star Chelsea Blackwell has been getting hate for sharing she’s been compared to Megan Fox in the past, and even Megan’s ex-husband Brian Austin Green is speaking out about her claims. Chelsea, who joined Love Is Blind season 6 in hopes she’d find love in the experiment, shared in the pods that her friends have told her she looks like Megan in the past, which piqued the interest of Jimmy Presnell, who Chelsea eventually got engaged to. While their relationship hasn’t been healthy, Chelsea’s been getting hate for more than just her romantic efforts on the show.
Throughout Love Is Blind season 6, many have commented on Chelsea’s claims about her apparent doppelganger, but Megan’s ex-husband Brian is a shocking addition. Questioned by TMZ, Brian shared “I think it’s tough. I think the reality is people say that all the time…You have those people [who will offer comparison], so she may have gotten that from a lot of people. Who knows. On certain days when her hair was done a certain, eye makeup was done a certain way…I mean, you live and learn.” Diplomatically, Brian shut down the idea that Chelsea and his ex-wife resemble one another.

Brian Austin Green Disagrees With Backlash Against Chelsea Blackwell
While Brian made it clear he doesn’t necessarily agree with the comparison of his ex-wife and Chelsea, he did share that the backlash the Love Is Blind star has been receiving isn’t something he condones. “I do think people should cut her some slack,” Brian explained, noting that he believes Megan “would be flattered” by the comparison. While Chelsea and Megan may not be mirror images, Brian shared it’s hard to for anyone to measure up to his ex. “She has very incredible look to her, so that’s a tough comparison I think for anyone to make,” he explained.
While Brian opened up about his thoughts surrounding the comparison of Megan and Chelsea, he made it clear that the online vitriol against the Love Is Blind season 6 cast member isn’t something he’s on board with. Having been in the public eye for the majority of his life, Brian’s stance isn’t surprising. Knowing Megan well and sharing that he felt she’d be flattered by the comparison, Brian was able to diffuse the situation and, hopefully, ensure Chelsea may be left alone about it. Chelsea has been dealing with some extreme hate after the episode revealing the comparison aired.
Though Megan hasn’t commented on the comparison directly, Chelsea has done her best to make sure the comparison isn’t the only thing she’s remembered for. Working hard to make her Love Is Blind experience a memorable one, Chelsea has been sharing her thoughts on the episodes on Instagram, and has been making sure she understands her part in the jokes surrounding her looks and her relationship. It’s obvious that Chelsea’s time on Love Is Blind has made her some interesting memories she’ll never be able to forget.
